SPEAKING MY TRUTH
Giving
voice to what I think, feel and need is vital to being present and authentic in
my relationships. This isn't always an easy
mission. First, I pause to listen to the
whispers of my ‘heart-voice’ within.
Next, I push aside the fears, old resentments and defenses that once
provided me with necessary safety but now only hurt and isolate me. Then, I open my mind and heart to the self-acceptance
and validation I desire and need. From
this centered place I choose to stand my ground and express myself to others,
knowing that my truth is worth speaking and hearing.
